Tips for being a reasonable person in a culture of outrage:

1. Make sure you’re getting angry about the right things.

2. Know when to walk away from a conversation.

3. Be meaningfully involved in creating solutions to the problems you see in the world.

4. Be intentional about what you let yourself be emotionally invested In.

Let's assume I've been living under a rock for the day so far, and I just stumbled upon some troubling news from Russia.

Hefty thunderstorms expected in The Netherlands for the end of the day. Looking forward to it. I always enjoy a good rain shower.

As it turns out, our Sun will swallow the Earth whole in a couple of billion years.

For some reason, this fact makes me somewhat sad. As if it's all for nothing.

Patiently waiting for Ivory for Mac, due today.

Debating whether I should sell my car privately and deal with people coming over and taking on risk with test drives and such.

Or sell it to some merchant and take a significant cut on its worth.

Any words of encouragement? Or success/failure stories, perhaps?
