#littlefedi

@mookie@bunnymotorsports.com where's your #littlefedi instance? this is taking too long

I tried a thing, and I think I succeeded. LittleFedi was released today, and I was already thinking about dropping GotoSocial. I performed an in-place migration of all data, so here we are: same domain, same handle, same content, and same keys.

I was able to bring along previous posts, but not on the same URL. That's fine, I guess.

So far so good, very impressed with this initial release.

@stefano@bsd.cafe happy to share notes if needed :) congratulations on the launch!

I might just mess around and see if I can create a little script to convert this Gotosocial database into a #LittleFedi importable ZIP, so I can bring my stuff over.
