#motorcycle
This morning I almost got knocked off the #motorcycle by some dude in his twenties who couldn't wait in traffic. Now, after watching this video, I genuinely wonder if commuting by bike is still safe these days. People are so short-tempered.
I don't want to be stuck in traffic; it feels like a waste of time. But I also want to get home to my wife and kids in one piece. This isn't some post to vent; I'm seriously weighing my options here, which sucks - cause I love riding the bike.
Spent 4 hours on the #motorcycle today. Consider myself properly done for the day, and I still have a half-hour ride to get home.
Since I'm upgrading my laptop from 14" to 16", it's triggered an interesting chain reaction. The 16" doesn't fit the current backpack, so it needs to be upgraded.
I haven't told my wife that it might not fit the #motorcycle either.
Rain is fine. Riding in the dark is fine. Traffic jams are fine.
Combining the three though, really takes the fun out driving a #motorcycle.
It's that time of the year again, unfortunately.

In a week or two, I'll be leaving for a 10-day #motorcycle trip to Andalusia in Spain 🇪🇸. In the meantime, I'm training for a half-marathon, so I guess I'll have to train by #running beside the beach. I am very much looking forward to this trip. ☀

A year has passed since my first solo vacation in Andalusia, Spain. What stayed with me the most was the feeling of just going with the flow, whatever the day brought or what my intuition told me. It was magnificent, and I plan to revisit the area next year.
Gave myself an early winter present: A heated vest by Gerbing for the chilly days on the #motorcycle.
Traffic has become more than brutal again after COVID and I'm planning on using the motorcycle through the winter most of the time. We get to lane split here in The Netherlands. It saves about 50% of trip duration during rush hour. ⛄️🏍️
Thought about taking the week off for some #motorcycle riding. Needless to say, I’m working this week.
